Who is your shipping carrier?

All packages are shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail services. Domestic deliveries arrive in 1-3 business days depending on the destination location. Tracking and insurance are included.

Will I have to sign for my package?

Typically, signature is not required and your discreet package will usually be left in your mail box or at door depending on the size of the package. Note that this requirement may change if/when regulations change. Check the product description to learn If a signature or adult signature is required.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, if your order totals $100 then standard shipping is free. Keep on the lookout for specials offering free shipping. The best way to stay in the loop is to sign up for the Imperium Roots newsletter and follow us on Instagram @imperiumroots.

What if my package is opened by the mail carrier or law enforcement?

Imperium Roots offers discreet shipping in USPS packaging and the outside of your package will not include any indication of the contents found within the package.

In addition to discreet shipping, Imperium Roots includes a Letter to Law Enforcement Authorities notifying the reader of the legal status of the products shipped to our customers. Along with this letter you will find a Certificate of Analysis (“COA”) for any consumable products. This COA will show the results of third party testing. These results will always include a potency test, and typically also include a terpene analysis and test results for contaminants. Product transparency is of the utmost importance to the Imperium Roots team.

What is Delta-9 THC?

THC stands for delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol or Δ-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ-9-THC). It is a cannabinoid molecule found in cannabis. This naturally occurring cannabinoid has been recognized as the primary psychoactive ingredient. THC is found in “Hemp” and “Marijuana”, which are terms defined by the United States Government to differentiate between low-THC cannabis (less than 0.3% THC by weight) and cannabis that produces THC in quantities greater than 0.3% THC (“Marijuana”).

All of Imperium Roots products are defined as Hemp, or Hemp-derived products, which were made federally legal by the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (the “2018 Farm Bill”).

What is Delta-8 THC?

Delta 8 THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, is a naturally occurring cannabinoid in cannabis (hemp and marijuana) and is commonly abbreviated as Delta 8 THC, Δ8THC, Δ8, D8, D8 THC, and D8THC. It’s an isomer of both cannabidiol (“CBD”) and Delta 9 tetrahydrocannabinol (“D9THC”), sharing a chemical formula of C21H30O2 and a molar mass of 314.464 g/mol.

It exists naturally and can also be produced by converting CBD or Delta 9 THC via a chemical reaction typically using heat, catalysts, altered pH environments, and/or solvents.

What is CBD?

CBD, or cannabidiol, is a compound in the cannabis plant. Millions of people have incorporated CBD into their lifestyles for a variety of reasons. It does not get you high, but there are currently numerous government-backed studies being conducted on its many uses. CBD can be paired with other parts of the cannabis plant to enhance or change its effects. The enhanced experience delivered from the various cannabinoids and naturally occurring terpenes is often referred to the “entourage effect”.

What are terpenes?

Terpenes exist in almost every plant and fruit. They are aromatic oils that exist to lure pollinators and repel predators. Often, your favorite cannabis strains are defined by their terpene flavor profile. Cannabis terpenes come from the same glands that create the cannabinoids, and it is thought that they play a role in differentiating the effects of each strain. Over 100 terpenes have been identified in various cannabis cultivars and are responsible for the aroma and flavor profile of each unique plant. If you have ever wondered why one strain smells like a skunk while another smells like cake – it’s all about the terpenes, and this variability is one of the many amazing things about cannabis that keeps us always on the lookout for unique traits found in this wonderful plant.
